After navigating putting on the race last fall, we sure didn't imagine we would be thinking about COVID-19 again this year, but here we are.
To start, it's important to state that we believe we are all in this together and the health, safety and well being of our riders, event volunteers and everyone who lives and works along the route is of paramount importance to us.
While September is still a long ways off we want to let everyone know that we will be monitoring the latest health guidelines and recommedations at both the federal and state levels and will adjust race protocols as needed.
Hopefully, we will be able to gather in person for our pre-race meeting, peddle off the start line together and enjoy our group ride neutral start. But, if need be we are prepared to make adjustments such as conduct the pre-race meeting virtually and stagger the start times to avoid group interactions. As a last resort we reserve the right to cancel the event if required by State or Federal regulations. You can rest assured that your donation that was made during registration will be put to good use by the selected organizations, i.e, there are no refunds on the donations.
