A New Hampshire Native roaming Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain West. Biking has been a sense of freedom for me since I was a young girl. I grew up with mountain bikers and downhill racers- the fearless tree warriors of the nookie Shire landscape. I've raced enduro, nailed down some KOMs on Strava for XC trails, and have pedaled some gnarly backcountry hiking trails that were questionable to mountain bike on. About a year ago, the managers of a bike shop that I worked for filled my head with talk of gravel riding. They were obsessed and persistently bragged about the access that fatter tires on a road or touring bike offered. The ability to ultimately ride more terrain extended their rides and spoiled the masochists inside them. So, of course, I wanted that too. I sold my mountain bike in pursuit of a new challenge, and to continue evolving my passion for cycling. I'm looking forward to the Montana Bike Odyssey to explore more of this beautiful western landscape, it's history, it's people, it's land, and to chase that so-called freedom that long hours in the saddle offers.
